Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I book a home?
A: You have a couple options - you can either book right here on our website using the secure checkout, or you can call our office at (208) 639-1407 and you can speak to a real human (!) to get any questions answered and get your reservation confirmed. Hint: we LOVE getting to know our guests, and prefer handling your booking that way! No pressure though.
Q: I'm a homeowner and I want to hire you to rent my house out. Do you do that?
A: Absolutely!! All of our current homes available for rent are individually owned by people other than us. If you have a home that you are wanting to rent out, whether it's for a year or more, or just for 6 month's while you're out of town, we've got you covered. We deal with all different kinds of situations. Prefer to leave the home furnished with your furniture? Great. Don't have anything for the house except a key to the front door? No worries. We have our own inventory of furniture, linens, decorations, etc. and can completely furnish your home in no time. Still want to come stay at your home occasionally? You will have access to your own portal where you can see your home's availability and make your own "reservation" to stay at your home.
We build lasting relationships with all of our property owners, and many of our homes have been referred to us by existing owners we work with. We LOVE what we do and we LOVE making our owners happy! Give us a call at (208) 639-1407, we would love to work with you.
A: All of our properties are self-catering and prepared to be your home away from home. Guests can expect a home that is fully stocked with bed linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans, coffee makers, toasters, etc. We also provide a basic supply of complimentary amenities such as paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent, garbage bags, coffee and coffee filters (or K-cups), tea, cotton balls, and q-tips. We do not provide any breakfast but do supply basic seasonings and oils.
Guests will need to bring personal items such as: clothing, toiletries (i.e. toothpaste, deodorant), beach towels, etc. Some of our properties are equipped with board-games, movies, and other entertainment options, however we encourage guests to inquire about the amenities of the individual properties in order to find the home that provides the features and extras that best suit their vacation needs.Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: We love doggies! Each Property Works Rental property is individually owned, and has its own pet policy. We do charge a pet fee (per pet per stay) that is nonrefundable. Of course, service animals are always accepted with proper documentation. We do ask that you inform us of any pets prior to booking so we can approve. For more information please visit our Terms and Conditions page. Cats are allowed on a case by case basis.Q: How do I get check in instructions?
A: An email with check in instructions will be sent to the email address provided 3 days prior to arrival, as long as your balance is paid in full. That email will have door/garage codes, the house manual, garbage day information, and check out instructions. If you do not see that email within 3 days before you arrive, please let us know and we can be sure and get it sent to you. All of our properties are self check-in, so you should never have to meet someone to get access.Q: Will there be a TV?
A: All of our properties come with a television and a Roku. Some homes are equipped with a Smart TV, so Netflix, Hulu, etc are built in. Other times there will be a separate Roku system attached. Some properties have cable TV as well. Each property will have a laminated welcome sheet with specific instructions for that home. Please note, we do NOT provide access to the individual streaming services, you must have your own log in info to watch shows on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. We also ask that you refrain from setting any parental controls for the cable TV, or if you do, remove them prior to departure.
